Today, China has entered the stage of rapid development of population aging. In It will reach the the maximum value 0.437 billion, more than the sum of the elderly population in developed countries, as well as the total population of the United States.China’s current economic and social security level is low, shortage of medical resources. The utilization of medical resources is relatively low in the aged. So that the majority of the elderly can not get timely, adequate health care. With the rapid aging of the population, there will be a huge demand for medical care for the elderly in a relatively short period of time. The defects of China’s current urban medical social security system will be revealed further. As China entered the rapid development period of population aging, The aging problem especially the elderly health problems will be focused on the show, This will become a great challenge for China’s medical security system.This thesis Study on the allocation and spatial layout of Jiawang district’s medical facilities based on GIS.First, the author analyse the current situation of the medical facilities collocation and needs usingt the quantitative data analysis, combined with qualitative analysis, based on the existing medical data and and ArcGIS technology. In the research for the facility configuration, mainly from three aspects: the overall configuration level, the allocation of fairness, and the lowest demand of the elderly.In terms of space layout, this paper evaluated the suitability of aging from three aspects: spatial density, service range and spatial accessibility.Then, according to the above analysis, the author make some improvement suggestions on the aging based on the Location allocation model of ArcGIS.At last, The author makes a summary and prospect of this paper. According to the research of this paper, the thesis summarizes some improvement principles of medical facilities in terms of appropriate aging and look into the future of the health care facilities of the aging planning and design.
