| Valve is an indispensable component in the industrial production field. We regulate the flow and direction of the medium in the pipeline by controlling the opening and closing the valve. There are many types of valve, the regulating valve is one of them. It controls actuator’s action by receiving the locator’s signal, drive to open and close the valve, so as to realize the adjustment of pressure and flow. Regulating valve plays an important in petroleum and chemical industry.With the development of science and technology, how to develop the coal gasification technology as an alternative energy source has become the key point. In coal water slurry gasification process, it will produce a large number of black water and gray water, the common regulating valve is not suitable for the conditions. Therefore, the blackwater regulating valve appears.It based on the blackwater regulating valve of Chaoda Valve Co.,LTD.which pressure level is Class600(PN100),DN100. By means of numerical simulation and experiment, the flow characteristics are explored. The influence of the chocked flow on the valve selection calculation is analyzed, and the flow field in the harsh working conditions is studied.According to the structure analysis of the blackwater regulating valve, it introduces the composition principle of the key components and its function in the bad working condition,and explains the working principle of the control valve; According to the continuity equation and Bernoulli equation, the flow equation of the regulating valve is obtained, by means of numerical simulation and experimental research methods, we can get the inherent flow characteristics of the valve. The results are analyzed and the reason of the error is pointed out.Chocked flow is a common phenomenon in valve in engineering practice. According to the actual working conditions of the valve, it is found that there is a chocked flow in the valve.We analyzes the influence of chocked flow to the valve’s selection, and then leads to the influence of flash and cavitation on the valve. According to the short life of blackwater regulating valve under severe conditions, making use of CFD numerical simulation method to get internal flow field characteristics of the regulating valve,and found the place that the cavitation may appear. Compared with the distribution of solid particles in the valve under different open degree, and find out the serious wear of the valve.At last, the valve structure is improved which reduces the possibility of the occurrence of flash and cavitation. It also provides a reference for the future engineering designers to optimize and improve the valve structure. |
