Study The Relevance Of Driver’s Experience And Traffic Accident

With the increasing of vehicle, traffic accidents are also rapidly increased year by year. while the driver is the main cause of the high traffic accidents, drivers of different driving experience have different influence to traffic accident, so study the relevance of motorists’ driving experience and traffic accidents, to propose appropriate countermeasures against the high incidence of accidents among motorists’ driving experience, can effectively prevent traffic accidents. What’s more? many motorists’ driving experience did not match its actual driving experience which obtained a driver’s license for many years, but they never drive, so amending the number of driver is very necessary.Firstly, in order to obtain the related research data, we conducted a three-month traffic accident investigation in Wei’yang police and the Evidence Forensic Center of Chang’an University in Shan’xi Province, and obtained a total of 1360 traffic accidents. Furthermore, we conducted drivers’ driving frequency questionnaire in the eastern suburb, the western suburbs, the northern suburbs and the southern suburbs and other places of Xi’an for a month in order to obtain driver’s driving frequency to amend the number of different driving experience, and obtained a total of 1502 valid questionnaires. Secondly, amending the number of different driving experience people which based on the results of questionnaire survey in motorists’ driving frequency, and calculation the equivalent number people of different driving experience though the method of value weighted, then use traffic accident responsibility and accident serious degree as evaluation index of traffic accident to established the driver’s accidents hazards model. Thirdly, by using SPSS software’s descriptive statistics module, means comparison module and associated modules to analysis the relevance of motorists’ driving experience and the driver’s accidents hazards, results showed that motorists’ driving experience was highly relevant with driver’s accidents hazards. Analyzed the relevant of motorists’ driving experience and the driver’s accidents hazards of different types of roads, cars and large malignant accidents further. Finally, based on the least square theory, fitting the trends of accident serious degree of motorists’ different experience though the MATLAB software, and testing the fitting results, analyzed the cause, and further more analysized the relevance between driver of driving experience and accidents of different types of roads, car and King malignant accident.Studying the relevance between drivers driving and traffic accidents,the results show that: the driver of driving experience is highly correlated with the degree of harm accidents, accident curve is in line with the cubic function curve, with the increase of driving experience, a downward trend of accident in the overall; the driver of experience is highly correlated with the degree of harm accidents in urban roads, low-grade road and the passenger car, and moderate correlation in high-grade road and the commercial vehicles, belonging to correlation.
