With the continuous development and progress of society, many existed buildings need to be reinforced to meet the current function. Reinforced by increasing section is one of the most commonly methods that be used in the construction industry of the reinforcement, but the research of the cross-sectional study of joints after the overall performance of the force is not deep enough. The mechanical behavior of the reinforcement beam-column joint is complex, and it’s an important force component of frame structure.It has a very important theoretical significance and practical value for engineering method to increase the cross-sectional study on the performance of reinforced concrete beam-column joints.The issue analyzes the working mechanism of section enlargement reinforced concrete structure on the basis of accessing relevant information, and proposed a technical measure to improve cross-section reinforcing concrete structures. Then, using SAP2000 to have a Pushover analysis for the original structure and the second, third and four floor beam section increased of the frame structure, through displacement performance in the earthquake, the interlayer displacement angle and other parameters in the structure culminating point position, to verify the feasibility of the reinforcing way. Finally, analyze the beam-column nodes’ mechanical behavior of framework structure at low cyclic load. After analysis with ABAQUS, we reached the following conclusions:(1)In the framework it can improve the loading capacity with additional anchorage force around beam-column node;(2)The higher floors of the reinforced beam in, the more prone plastic frame column damage;(3)The destruction of each model, the beam end bending failure generally occurs before the node shear failure, in line with "strong nodes, weak cross-section" of the design requirements.(4)Increasing the cross section of the beam reinforcement concrete strength after members new bend calculation of utilization coefficients? =0.94.The results can be used for further study of the performance-section reinforcing frame joints provide some reference value for engineering design and construction of the same type.
