Rolling-sliding bearing is a new type of bearing which is composes of inner ring, outer ring, cylindrical roller and slider, it have both the advantages of rolling bearing and rolling-sliding bearing. For example, the friction coefficient is small, the load capacity is large, the impact loading capacity is strong, due to the effect of slider of rolling-sliding bearing, it increases the bearing capacity, more importantly, the lubricating oil film between slider and inner ring and outer ring can play the role of reducing the vibration. Therefore, this bearing can effectively improve the loading capacity, reduce abrasion and prolong the service life. In order to understand its mechanical characteristics and fatigue life, observes the performance of this new type of rolling-sliding bearing, in this paper, the cylindrical roller bearing is select as the object of analysis and comparison, which is widely use in practice, by using ABAQUS software and nCode Design-life software of cylindrical roller bearing and rolling-sliding bearing contact static mechanical and dynamic mechanical simulation and fatigue life, and the simulation results are analysis and comparison. It is mainly to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of rolling-sliding bearing relative to cylindrical roller bearing, provide some theoretical guidance for the research and development of rolling-sliding bearing. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Simulation of multi-body contact static mechanics of cylindrical roller bearing and rolling-sliding bearing base on ABAQUS software, according to the Hertz elastic contact theory, the maximum stress of the cylindrical roller bearing is obtain, and with the simulation results are compare to verify the correctness of the finite element model, on the basis of this, the simulation results of cylindrical roller bearing and rolling-sliding bearing are analysis and comparison.(2) Simulation of multi-body contact dynamic mechanics of cylindrical roller bearing and rolling-sliding bearing base on ABAQUS software, the time curves of stress, displacement and velocity of two kinds of bearing are analysis and comparison under the condition of load and speed.(3) The finite element model of static mechanics simulation is use as a model for fatigue analysis, and the time stress variation law of the dynamic simulation results is use as the load cycle variable of the fatigue analysis, fatigue life simulation of cylindrical roller bearing and rolling-sliding bearing using Design-life nCode fatigue analysis software, and the simulation results are analysis and comparison.(4) Experiment of cylindrical roller bearing and rolling-sliding bearing is carry out on the experimental platform, the experimental results are compared with the simulation results of fatigue analysis, in order to verify the validity of the theory and method of fatigue analysis.Analysis and comparison show that rolling-sliding bearing can effectively avoid the generation of "edge stress" in the static force, and can bear a larger load, under the high speed and heavy load, the time history curves of the stress, displacement and velocity of each part is stable,mutual coordination is good, and performance is more stable, it is more important that the interaction between slider and cylindrical roller can be absorbed more easily by the impact energy of bearing. Therefore, rolling-sliding bearing has better ride comfort and comprehensive performance, and at the same time, under the premise of meeting the fatigue strength, rolling-sliding bearing is not easy to fatigue damage, with a higher reliability and performance.
