Recently, electricity facilities thefts occur more and more frequently, which not only make the grid to sustain great economic loss but also cause power interruptions directly and affect the supply reliability. Those behaviors damage the power grid security seriously and influence social benefits. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a set of anti-theft monitoring system, which is of reasonable cost, simple maintenance and easy to promote widely. It contributes to protect the security of electricity facilities and power grid, effectively protects customers’ reliable electricity, and brings direct social and economic benefits.By analyzing the theft of electricity facilities for Huizhou Power Supply Bureau in recent years, this paper researches and develops a power transformer anti-theft intelligent system, which is based on multi-parameter identification and Process monitoring by artificial intelligence. It can grasp the surrounding circumstances quickly and accurately, achieving the purpose of timely detection and preventing the human theft.In view of the current technology and applications, the anti-technology, as the main measures, is researched and demonstrated in this paper, combined with the anti-theft sensing technology, device electrical technology, intelligent monitoring system and other technical advantages. It provides power to the alarm device with the electric-taking technology, studies electric current parameter measurement sensor and uses the cabin shell for the low voltage side of the transformer. Then, a set of anti-theft monitoring system, which uses cable anti-theft device for cable armoring layer based on the principle of carrier communication, has been developed and applied. The remote monitor of voice, Temperature monitoring and etc to achieve the all-around monitor of the power transformer. It effects to avoid the theft. If we could not avoid the theft timely, we can also use the mobile trajectory and location information to avoid the transfer and peddle of electricity facilities. After repeated testing and improvement, this system is applied widely in Huizhou power grid, and achieves the anticipated purpose.
