Freight station is the starting point and destination of the railway freight transportation in the production process, it is an important part of the railway station, which directly serves all sectors of the national economy.Therefore, the construction of China’s railway freight yard is an important issue.According to the task given the Xibaipo freight station, including comprehensive freight station for freight, mainly for cargo types and quantity, and the goods operating characteristics.The Xibaipo freight station layout and design, mainly including: selection yard allocation graph and division cargo area, loading and unloading machine configuration, the cargo area set configuration and yard equipment configuration. According to the design standards for railway freight yard,this paper set up a total of four cargo area. The four cargo area including dangerous goods area, bulk loading area, container cargo area and into the package of goods district; configuration of the platform and the corresponding, warehouse and stock yard; loading and unloading lines totaling 8, pull line 1, parking line 1; loading and unloading machine main configuration 68 forklift truck, 6 gantry crane, 2 sets of chain bucket type loading machine and 2 sets of Chain Bucket Unloader; railway line mainly uses the relationship line terminal connection, and choose No. 9 turnout.
