Elevated bridge construction in urban rail transit project has huge impact on the traffic flow. It should be in coordination with municipal engineering, so there are great operational risks. In addition, the schedules are usually tight and a great many new materials, technologies, processes, and equipment widely used. The number of construction workers also increases rapidly and the workers are not in the same level in quality. Many of them know little about the potential risks, reasonable management and security control. All these lead to serious potential risks and make us worried. Therefore, it has practical significance to study the urban rail transit bridge construction safety control system and accident rescue scheme.The main sources of danger and risk factors in urban rail transit construction had been systematically analyzed. The main sources of danger and risk factors include construction preparation, special operations(special operations, workplaces, environmental practices, special equipment operator), foundation and pier construction, superstructure construction, bridge construction, reinforced and prestressed concrete construction.The safety risks of urban rail transit bridge construction are classified into 23 kinds. The reference factors assessing these 23 kinds of risks have been analyzed. Questionnaires about the degree of risk danger have been designed, and they have been sent to 300 experts and professional and technical personnel through Email. The feedbacks have been collected and analyzed. On this basis, the critical risk control points have been work out. Moreover, the fine education and management of construction workers, fine arrangement of security personnel, and fine management of construction, accurate environment information and disaster emergency have been elaborately discussed.In the process of urban rail transit bridge construction, the most important types of security accidents are pit and construction bracket collapses. The possible signs of pit and construction bracket collapses have been analyzed, which provides the construction workers with necessary information of emergency treatment and evacuation. Self-help measures for construction workers trapped by pit and construction bracket collapses have been discussed and analyzed. At last, principles and precautions for emergency rescue in pit and construction bracket collapses have been discussed. Emergency rescue procedures have been designed.
