As a small type of energy accumulator electromagnetic, flux transfer trip generally applied in intelligent electrical apparatus is an important connecting unit between electrical module and mechanical module. Reliability of the flux transfer trip is the core quality index of intelligent electric controller and apparatus.In this study the development and trend of flux transfer trip is concluded and a certain type of flux transfer trip is analyzed. Based on principle of magnetic circuit and magnetic simulation software, design method of the flux transfer trip is introduced and construction optimization is realized. The corresponding experiment platform is established and the experiment results verify the availability of simulation model. According to the design characteristics of flux transfer trip and performance demands, the whole design proceed of it is accomplished.In this study the concept of the magnetic circuit is used to analyze the construction of flux transfer trip. In the analytic model divided magnetic part has the great influence to the performance of the flux transfer trip. And for the first time, the exciting amplification coefficient is introduced to evaluate the effort of the divided magnetic part.By using magnetic simulation software Maxwell 3D, the magnetic field of the flux transfer trip is calculated and virtual prototyping technology of flux transfer trip is realized.Coupled system simulation is accomplished to simulate the transient magnetic and mechanical processes of flux transfer trip. The simulation results can greatly be used to solve the real engineering problems.
