This paper introduces the basic principle of electrical equipment for infrared detection, infrared diagnosis methods and the factors influencing the accuracy of the diagnosis and countermeasures, based on the infrared diagnosis technology, gives the infrared thermal images of defective parts of the electrical equipment and analyze, judge and jiangyin grid infrared electric equipment in detecting the thermal graphs, analysis of the infrared detection technology advantages and disadvantages in practical application,.The paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter one elaborated this topic research background and significance of topic selection, and the development present situation at home and abroad were simply introduced.The second chapter presents the basic theory of infrared testing technology and fever fault reasons and types of electric equipment, electric equipment are briefly discussed the basic principle of infrared detection and infrared detection using the basic instrument. UsingThe third chapter sums up the methods of the infrared diagnosis technology and judgment, and the influencing factors of infrared diagnosis, put forward the method and the matters needing attention, to lower the error to the greatest extent improve the electrical equipment defects of infrared diagnosis accuracy.The fourth chapter, according to the theory of jiangyin grid electrical equipment using the infrared detection of typical pattern, this paper briefly introduces the structure characteristics of electrical equipment, and for each equipment made a brief analysis of the infrared thermal image map.
