As China is currently on the high speed of urbanization which makes the centre area of cities population high and construction crowed, the emergence of the integrated buildings corresponds to the trend of spatialization and three-dimensional of modern construction which also leads to new challenges, such as fire protection and safe evacuation. These integrated buildings have the characteristics of complex inner function, complicated people and space distribution, high fire load, etc. and the fire in integrated buildings can cause tremendous economic lost and death. When a fire occurs in the integrated building, especially large public building, the most effective way to evacuate or enter the shelter rapidly and safely is follow the guidance of people who are familiar with the internal structure of building. However, the number of personnel can not be guaranteed and fully relying on their instruction is also not realistic. So we must employ evacuation equipment to guide people to safe area using the quickest and optimum route.This paper takes integrated architecture as background, the main contents are as follows:(1)Deeply study the system of evacuation instructions in intelligent emergency lighting. Analyze the composition, characteristics, functions and applicable places of different evacuation instruction systems. This paper also puts forward the basic principle of the evacuation design according to the characteristics of the integrated building.(2)The controller of intelligent emergency lighting system based on microprocessor STM32 has been designed. The hardware includes CAN communication circuit, power circuit, memory circuit and sensor module circuit, and the software includes the CAN bus communication, sending and receiving message, reading and storing information, A/D converting. The hardware and software have been debugged. Finally, the controller has been tested.(3)Taking certain integrated building as example, by analyzing the evacuation indication system and emergency lamp and combining with the characteristics and functions of building, the design of emergency lighting evacuation instructions system has been completed.(4)By analyzing the evaluation standard of safety evacuation, the condition of fire danger situation has been set. The dangerous condition can be obtained by fire smoke simulation. In this condition, we simulate evacuation of personnel whether being introduced into the evacuation system or not. The results show that when the evacuation indication system is introduced, the evacuation efficiency is greatlyimproved.
