Research On Traditional Village&Vernacular Dwellings Of Gannan-Tibetan Region

Tibetan traditional architecture has it own system and unique style.Especially due to the influence of different geographical and climate and even culture environment, each Tibetan traditional local-style dwelling houses of different region breed different architectural styles. Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture is located in the southeast of Gansu province,the north to Sichuan province and the west to Qinghai province.From ancient times to the present,Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture is the place where Zhongyuan nationality and Zang nationality check and balance each other. In 1985,Famous scholar Mr. Fei Xiaotong proposed a historical-geographical concept named "west of gansu corridor".The so-called national corridor is some geographical conditions about the changes of the national history and evolution of the belt.This concept is also following Mr.Fei’s early "Tibetan-national and Yi-national corridor",puting forward by the extension of this concepts, the Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture is located in the core area of the "west of Gansu corridor".And this corridor is the bridge which connected "Hexi corridor" and "Tibetan-national and Yi-national corridor", and it is also the bridge of Zhongyuan and Tibetan area.As a result, the Tibetan Vernacular Dwellings here, is the living fossils of national migration and evolution.And along with the deepening of social development and urbanization,GannanTibetanautonomous prefecture is more closely to the central plains, the impact of Zhongyuan cluture can be said to be unprecedented,But the features of the traditional vernacular dewelings is under serious erosion of external culture, the protection and study of Gannan Tibetan vernacular dewelings becomes urgent.This paper selects the Nipa Tibetan village is located in Cheba village, Zhuoni county.It’s economy model belongs to half Agriculture and half animal husbandry economy style. Compared to the other Tibetan Tao River Basin, the culture of Nipa by external radiation is weak.In 1980 s, China ushered in the peak of a house,most new vernacular buildings still retains the original construction means and cultural connotation. We can say it is the study of traditional Tibetan village renewal development rare treasures.Therefore, the author learned from the method of anthropology, history, typology, phenomenology.Within a large number of reading materials and detailed field investigation and then aims to explore the update and development of the Tibetan village within it’s internal and external factors,we can finally provide a reference for rural updating method especially about the Tibetan village’s construction.The article is divided into six parts:the first chapter explains the scope, the present situation, significance and content of the research object,and the Ando Tibetan and "west Gansu corridor" where Niba Tibetan village located in has carried on the detailed explanation;The second chapter aims to analysis the background,the formation and the development of Niba Tibetan village from a angle of general nature, the humanities background;In the third chapter, the author was looking for the selection of location,the progress of development and the influencing factors of form from high level of the settlement, and make an analysis to the structure of present situation of the settlement space.Finally,the author make a comparison of Niba tibetan village to the other Tibetan village from Amdo region; The forth chapter focused on a little point.Firstly,it analyzed the composing of function,the combination between planes,the relationship between profile,the facade features,interior decoration,the process of construction and the structural system of Niba tibetan through examples of vernacular dewelings.Secondly,it summarized the research data and sorted out of the architectural evolution process and factors of Niba Tibetan village to get their architectural motif. The fifth chapter discussed advantages and disadvantages in the process of the evolution of Niba Tibetan village updating process,and then answered how to update the Niba Tibetan village in a proper method. Finally,in the sixth chapter,the paper has been summarized according to the previous analyses, thought and thought again about the insufficient to extent a further research possiblelyand then anticipate the protecting and renovating of the Tibetan village guidance is putting forward.
