Research On Conservation And Rational Utilization Of Urban Architectural Remains In Xi’an Area

In the process of urban renewal, the contradiction between protection and development is inevitable in Xi’an as a famous historical and culture city, facing with the continuous demolishing and extinction traditional historical architecture, the old streets are constantly transform and widen, readjustment must be made in order to adapt to the new urban functions. In the rapid development of the city, unifying the different urban functions of the historical and modern cities is to respect the authenticity protection of architectural remians city. On the basis of the continuation of the ancient city of thousands of years historical context, to meet the new needs of urban functions and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the city.The perspective of urban remians is a perspective on the dimension of spanning time. It observes and records cities and buildings in a dynamic and changing way. The scope of the study not only covers the historical material carrier, but also includes the city life under the carrier. The key focus of this paper is recording the cultural and urban memory of the present architectural remians remained and how to make rational use of it in the development of the city.In this paper, through the analysis of the related problems of urban architectural remians and its environment in the urban renewal process, on the basis of comparing and summarizing the urban architectural remians and utilization method in Xi’an area, and start from the urban renewal and the sustainable development, introduce of heritage economics theory, urban management theory, historic site development and protection as a basis for support, select the protection of urban architectural remians and urban social development dynamics as the main target object of study, study on the problems and the relationship between the protection and utilization of urban architectural remians, through the investigation and conclusion of the existing remians protection and utilization case in Xi’an area, recognize the opportunities and challenges faced by the architectural remians, and then explore the urban architectural remians protection and utilization and the urban development cooperation strategy.
