A Research Of Urban Overlooking Landscape Planning & Control

In contemporary society, along with the development of the social economy and scientific technology, people have more opportunities overlooking the city, the urban landscape from overlooking perspective can macroscopically show the urban landscape style, forming a strong visual memory. It’s also a new way to display the urban image and to reflect the urban personality. But now the urban planning academic circle pays less attention to this issue, haven’t got on systematic research. This paper will have a premilinary study on the urban overlooking landscape from the perspective of planning and control, in order to create harmonious and individual urban overlooking landscape.As the core area of Lintong district,Lishan group is the important display area of Qintang culture and Qinling culture with numerious historical sites and rich natural resources. But overlooking the whole area from Lishan, the chaotic overlooking landscape is inferior. With the construction of international influence tourist destination and the development of air travel, it’s necessary to make scientific planning and control to the overlooking landscape of Lishan group, in order to fully displaying the urban landscape style with natural history characteristics.Firstly, the urban overlooking landscape and related concepts were reviewed in this paper, as well as making an intensive study of domestic and foreign relevant theories, in order to provide a theoretical support for the planning and control of the urban overlooking landscape. Secondly, it definitely expounded the generation process,influence factors, research level, use value of the urban overlooking landscape. Thirdly,Summing up the study above, it proposed the main planning control objects,evaluation methods, planning control principles and hierarchical planning control measures, in order to establish the urban overlooking landscape planning and control system. Finally, basing on the intensive research and analysis of the urban overlooking landscape of Lishan Group,it summed up the shortage of the existence, then combined with the relevant plans, it proposed the grading control method from three levels concluding urban level,sectional level and key section level of Lishan Group.Through this research, it aims to summarize the urban overlooking landscape relevant theory and elaborated mechanism,providing relevant advice and reference for the urban overlooking landscape of Lishan Group, Xi’an City as well as other area.
