| With the development of network technology, almost all equipment need data connection and power source at the same time.As the installation of many equipment is far away from the computer room,providing a set of external power for each equipment will greatly increase the cost of the network’s seting up.In order to solve this kind of problem, in the June of 2003, the international organization for standardization IEEE passed the IEEE802.3af standard-Power on Ethernet standard.PoE(Power over Ethernet) refers to the Device through the Ethernet port and twisted-pair to supply the remote power for PD(Powered Device).In this way, we can effectively solve the problem of centralized power supply for the IP phone, wireless access point, portable device, IP camera and so on. For the terminal equipment, indoor power system wiring is no longer to be considered.As long as you follow the IEEE802.3af standard all suitability between between different equipment manufacturer can be solved.Based on the IEEE802.3af standard, according to user requirements, this study realizes all function of PoE modules by using C language on COMWARE V7 system. And it completes users’ interaction with the outside world through the command line and MIB. Realized the function of when the equipment connected to the network and it can be supplied power at the same time.This system adopts a modular hierarchical management, dividing the whole system into adaptation layer and chip layer. Adaptation layer contains PoE power management module, PSE management module and port control module. Chip layer contains protocol module, queue management module, data transceiver module, maintainability and equipment module. Then through a function call relationship links each module, making up a complete PoE power supply system.Finally, a functional and non-functional test will be conducted to make sure all indicators are up to standard. And the test results show that the system is reasonable and effective. |
