With the mechanical drive should widely using in mechanical engineering, so according to the situation to develop a variety of new type of mechanical transmission to meet the need of practical engineering applications become a trend, scholars began to join in the study of mechanical transmission. Combined with a large number of references, on the basis of the principle of cycloidal pin gear planetary transmission, a new type of coaxial single input and ipsilateral double output cycloid pin gear planetary gear reducer is presented in this paper. It belongs to the 2K-2H planetary transmission. The two output shaft of the reducer can achieve two output axis coaxial and reversing output transmission and design transmission ratio independently, especially suitable for the double-screw coaxial transmission of mixers, aircrafts, ships and submarines. The transmission principle, structure characteristics, stress distribution, multi-body dynamics simulation and finite element analysis of the new output-double cycloidal reducer has been carried on the thorough research.(1) The working principle of the reducer is discussed and the transmission structure is analyzed, with the transformation mechanism method its transmission ratio formula is deduced in detail; the main structure parameters is simply illustrated and the size of the gear reducer is determined; the two dimensional figure of the structure of the reducer is designed by combining with the relative information.(2) The stress model of the internal and external output pin tooth shell and the cycloid gear is established and the force situations of cycloid gear and pin gear, cycloid gear and column, cycloid gear and a crank are analyzed in the paper. On this basis, Matlab software is used to program and solve. And the force curve of the jib crank to the cycloid gear is analyzed emphatically. So a theoretical basis is provided in order to further study the new coaxial counter rotating cycloid pin gear planetary transmission parameters, structural design and strength calculation.(3) The three-dimensional solid models of all parts of the reducer are established and assembled virtually by using UG software, the corresponding multi-body system dynamics model is established in the Adams and the simulation analysis is carried on. The transmission ratio which gets from the simulation compares with the one of the theoretical calculation, which verifies the feasibility of the transmission principle of the reducer. The motion responses of the output shaft of the reducer and the stress change rules of the key parts are simulated by using adams software, which is provided the basis for further optimizing design of the reducer.(4) The finite element model of the cycloid gear is built based on ANSYS software, the modal characteristics of the cycloid gear in the free condition and in the constraint condition is solved respectively, the inherent frequency of the cycloidal gear and cloud picture of the vibration mode under different conditions is obtained. By establishing the finite element model of the input shaft, the modal characteristics of the input shaft is calculated respectively without considering the rotational prestress and considering the rotational prestress.
