A 2K-V cycloid pin gear planet transmission mechanism is a new type of planetary drive with small teeth difference, which is compose of 2K-V and K-H-V planet transmission mechanism, with advantages of 2K-V transmission mechanism's high efficiency and of planetary drive with small teeth difference's great speed ratio. 2K-V cycloid pin gear planetary reducer has found its wide application in shipbuilding, metallurgy, chemical industry, mining, lifting transport and other special domains including robot and aerospace because of its strong ability to carry loads, high transmission accuracy, efficiency and torsional stiffness, low transmission backlash great speed ratio, accuracy and efficiency, small dimension, light weight and compact structure.This paper studies and analyzes the influences of clearance and elastic deformation on transmission efficiency of 2K-V cycloid pin gear reducer, after 3D parameterized model is constructed in Pro/E and the dynamic model of the multi-rigid-body system and rigid-flexible coupling system is also constructed by means of ANSYS and ADAMS. In conclusion, the main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly, this paper introduces the working principle of the reducer, the method of mending tooth shape of cycloid gear, the optimum method and amount of mending tooth shape of cycloid gear, and the working principle of rotational transmission precision of the reducer, which lay a theoretical foundation for analyzing the factors influencing transmission precision.Secondly, all parts of the reducer were constructed in 3D parametric design and realize parametric assembly in Pro/E. This will do preparation work for establishing multi-body system dynamic model.Finally, the dynamic model of multi-rigid-body system or rigid-flexible coupling system is constructed in ADAMS and the output-angle error curves are obtained by multi-body system dynamic simulation. Through a comparative analysis for the output-angle error curves, some conclusions of influence of transmission precision are obtained.Dynamic simulation of the multi-body system of the reducer is conducted, and afterwards the influence of clearance and elastic deformation on transmission efficiency is analyzed. This work provides a useful approach for designing and machining high precision 2K-V cycloid pin gear reducer.
