Cycloid gear transmission has some advantages such as big contact ratio,smooth transmission, uniform tooth surfaces wearing, less tooth, no root cutting andso on, but its centre distance can not be divided into, and it is difficult tomanufacture tool, then severely limits the application of cycloid gear. High-endprecise mechanical system such as aerospace and medical equipment and roboticsurgent need micro-reducer which has some advantage for example: small size, lightweight, big carrying capacity, smooth transmission and high efficiency. Today theultra-precision manufacturing develop fast, machining precision is no longer theapplication of cycloid gear’s trouble.Simpler mathematical model of cycloid is established through set the heart ofthe base circle as the coordinate system’s origin after analysis about cycloid toothprofile and cycloid modification tooth profile at home and abroad. cycloid originalcontinuous tooth profile is constructed which is based on cycloid isometric line.And studied the tooth profile’s possible and form of conjugate meshing, how todefine and calculate the contact ratio. According to the shortcoming of smallcontact ratio’s on original continuous tooth profile, put forwarded some profilemodification method at the conjugate condition, with less tooth and suitablecoincidence degree, and deducted more than10kinds of new cycloid tooth profileused these modification methods.The meshing track lines of cycloid repair form tooth profile and new cycloidtooth profile are got based on the cycloid form principle after studied the meshingtrack line of cycloid original continuous tooth profile with the method of kinematics.According to the definition of contact ratio and meshing angle. put forward the allcycloid gear transmission contact ratio and meshing angle’s calculation methodafter analysed the meshing track lines. Studied and determined these cycloid gear’sbasic designing parameters, and then each cycloid gear geometry calculationformula is deduced. New cycloid gear is chose and studied its designing constraintsand the effect of the transmission characteristics when change the design parameters,after compared the geometric features and transmission characteristics of eachcycloid gear.Studied and compared some3K planetary transmission efficiency and result oftooth matching, the selection is3K-I type and select design parameters for each newcycloid gear combining the characteristics of the new cycloid gear. Confirm the newcycloid gear pair’s load and checked tooth surface contact fatigue strength, and then analyzes the shaft bending and twisting load, choose the axis support bearing, andcheck the all calculation result. Designed the structure of planet shelf and miniaturereducer, and the miniature reducer system how to connect with servo motor and thebody, after studied the transmission properties, processing, installation process, etc.
