| As we are going through a period of industrial restructuring, how to enhance our soft power and increase the culture output is becoming increasingly important. However, as a result of blindly pursuing the speed of development in the past few years, many cities are built without enough consideration of culture, and now our cities looks exactly the same with glass curtain walls and asphalt road. Street lamps’ advantage as an important part of road administration facilities is not being made full use of, but shared some common problems such as lack of recognition, bad design and light pollution, which makes it more important to add culture elements in street design so as to promote city’s cultural development.This subject will focus on the abstraction of regional culture elements, study and explore how to effectively abstract the design elements from regional culture. All studies are based on basic research of culture, it use the method of combining theoretical study and design practice and hope to find a way that can make fully use of the advantage of street lamps, promote cities’ cultural construction.During this subject, a lot of research is done by collecting existing products and amylase the cultural design of them, which is the basic of further study. This study mainly made innovations as follow: Firstly, it explore the culture industrial value of street lamps by using cultural elements in lamp design. Secondly, it summarize a practical cultural element abstract theory. Thirdly, instead of the traditional thinking that using lamp bulb to decorate, combining curve and light will enrich the design language as well as soften the light effect. Fourthly, the use of LED light makes it possible to program the light effect and make it varies with the day/night circle, s eason change or even festival demands, so that the street light will become part of the future smart road/city. |
