Blocking diode is widely used in PV combiner box, which primarily prevents current flow due to voltage differences between the different components of solar energy generated. Blocking diode in the work process generates heat. The heat accumulates in the combiner box and causes the temperature increase. The temperature rise damages blocking diode itself and other elements in combiner box.In this paper, semiconductor refrigeration technology is mainly used for blocking diode to cool. Semiconductor coolers using the Peltier effect, converts electrical energy into heat. The temperature difference occurs at both ends of the semiconductor chip refrigeration. To prevent condensation blocking diode temperature is too low to produce the damage to its own and other electronic components. Therefore blocking diode infiltrates in non-conductive liquid. Semiconductor chip cools the liquid. Using active cooling methods to maintain the temperature of the liquid is always slightly higher than the ambient temperature, to avoid condensation of water produced. The main content of the study includes semiconductor chip refrigeration cooling performance analysis, analysis and improvement of the initial experiments, the medium-term experimental analysis and improvement, the final experimental verification and the research of control device.First, we analyze blocking device to get the heat production of power. According to that, refrigeration design refrigeration apparatus. The semiconductor chip refrigeration system verification and performance analysis carried out by the principle experiment to understand semiconductor refrigeration chip cooling performance and the factors that affect the cooling. These will be the guidance to the design of the experimental apparatus. Then the semiconductor chip refrigeration theoretical calculation and analysis, determine the number of semiconductor refrigeration tablets.Second, design refrigeration apparatus experimental apparatus. Have the first experiments at room temperature. According to the experimental data, identify the factors that affect the cooling effect of the semiconductor and improved, thus making improved refrigeration apparatus. Improve the Refrigerating apparatus to meet cooling demand. Simulate different ambient temperature. Recording to the temperature variation data, we can determine the refrigeration apparatus to the ambient temperature range.Next, design the cooling temperature control system to control the working conditions of the semiconductor refrigeration components. Analyze the temperature control functions of the system and accordingly write a flowchart to select the appropriate hardware. According to that, draw schematics and circuit board production. Using software written in C language, the debugged program is downloaded to the circuit board. the temperature control system has to meet the requirements. Finally, the combination of temperature control systems and refrigerating apparatus together, control the operation of the refrigeration apparatus to maintain the blocking diode temperature within a certain temperature range.
