Ship lock engineering is related to public buildings as well as a combination of large-scale water transport engineering industry, which is very dependent on building materials, energy, land, shoreline, and other resource, and has a great impact on the natural environment in time and scope. The consumption of energy and resources and environmental protection issues have become a more and more serious problem which can’t be ignored in the construction of ecological civilization society. How to comprehensively, objectively and scientific evaluate ship lock project of green and low-carbon is an urgent problem. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1) Through investigating and analyzing the progress of green low-carbon construction in port and water conservancy and hydropower and other areas, we can conclude that these areas focus on energy and resource, environmental protection and ecological impacts. Then elaborate the definition, features and content of green low-carbon ship lock engineering. Specifically, analyze the ship lock engineering involves ecological response, and then establish carbon emission model of ship lock engineering.(2) A large number of inventory data is collected in the ship lock construction process involved environment based on carbon emissions model of ship lock engineering. Through analyzing carbon emissions and establishing a carbon emissions list of the ship lock engineering, we can conclude that:the design of the ship lock structure have a great effect on carbon emissions, and the carbon emissions of building materials in production stage is more than 90 percent of total carbon emissions.(3) According to the definition, content and features of green low-carbon ship lock, use checklists to identify and analyze green low-carbon factor from the energy consumption and carbon emissions, resource consumption and utilization, environmental pollution control, ecological impact and protection of lock engineering for building green low-carbon evaluation system of ship lock engineering.(4) Proposed the principles of evaluation system of green low-carbon ship lock engineering from the purpose, scientific and practical perspectives, and on this basis, select four indicators of the first level:Energy conservation, Resource utilization, Environmental protection and Information technology. Apply Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine the weights of index. Combine the principles of membership degree to determine quantitative and qualitative indicators based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, and then establish comprehensive evaluation system of the green low-carbon ship lock engineering and demonstrated its evaluation processes.(5) Engineering examples, the evaluation model is applied to evaluate ZhuMa ship lock. ZhuMa ship lock scores 93.71 points, and belongs "very well". The evaluation process is simple, which proved the evaluation model is scientific, rational, and has good prospects.
