Today, people have increasingly requirements for product packaging and flexible packaging industry has increasingly requirements for bag-making machines. Due to its step-works, the current bag-making machine can not achieve continuous high strength of sealing. To improve the speed of bag making, our laboratory improved the traditional upper- lower reciprocating structure into continuous rotary structure, and the continuous feed of hot pressed materials can improve the speed of bag making fundamentally. This paper studied and improved the structure and control systems of rotary heat sealing system based on previous studies.Firstly, this paper studied composition,heat sealing properties and uses of common composite packaging materials, studied the impact of sealing parameters including temperature, sealing time and sealing pressure on the sealing quality and determine the proper heat sealing parameters combined rotary continuous hot sealing device. Secondly, improved the structure of the turntable and heating plate according to the determined heat sealing parameters, solved the problem of the line winding, and finished the kinematics simulation by Pro / E.Then, proposed the overall control scheme and completed the design of speed control system hardware and the software programming, and designed the electronic cam curve of cutting control system.Finally, made the model machine, imlement the hot sealing experiments, and experiments show that the model machine can completed continuous sealing with high heat seal strength. The production efficiency of soft plastic bags can greatly improved if the rotary continuous hot sealing device can be applied to the industrial production.
