The perlite sound-absorption board is a kind of new materials with noise-absorption and noise-reduction function. Although the demand of it is growing rapidly,sound-absorption boards are currently producted by semi-automated methods resulting in low productivity, high costs and the quality of the products is difficult to guarantee. In order to meet the growing market demand for perlite sound-absorption board, it is of great significance to provide a stable automated production line with high production efficiency.Therefore, based on existing domestic processing equipments of perlite sound-absorption board, this paper designed an automated mold-translational-circulating production line which has high production efficiency, high stability and high quality of products.According to the production requirements of perlite sound-absorption board by the enterprise, this paper first completed the overall design of mold-translational-circulating production line of perlite sound-absorption board. The basic structure of the main-line had been identified combining the advantages and disadvantages of the existing mold-vertical-circulating production line and the mold-rotary-circulating production line of perlite sound-absorption board.Secondly, this paper introduced the structure, working principle and main parameters of each major components of the main-line of the mold-translational-circulating production line. The three-dimensional modeling and assembly of major components and the whole main-line had been finished by using three-dimensional design software SolidWorks.Therefore, whether the relationship between the design of structure and the cooperation among components was reasonable had been verified, which also provided model support for subsequent simulation analysis.Finally, on the basis of the three-dimensional models established previously, static analysis and buckling analysis of the mold-longitudinal-moving devices which were used to push molds to move along the production line had been made by using software ANSYS workbench. In addition, the strength and stability tests of the mold-longitudinal-moving devices had been finished. According to the simulation results, the mold-longitudinal-moving devices had been optimized and the optimization results were verified after corresponding simulation analysis of the optimized longitudinal movingdevices. According to the analysis results in this paper, the mold-translational-circulating production line of perlite sound-absorption board had been processed and assembled. After the assembly and debugging at project site, the mold-translational-circulating production line could run stably and the production efficiency increased significantly which met the design expectation and requirements of customers for perlite sound-absorption board production line.
