Artistic conception, born as unique aesthetic inclination under Chinese traditional cultural background, shows aesthetic value of Chinese culture. The artistic conception became the spirit of the Chinese landscape painting since it was born, then through thousands of years, after comprehending the relation between ?object? and ?subject?, the Chinese landscape painting has relatively mature ?methods of presentation? and it also becomes the main-stream pattern of artistic manifestation of Chinese cultural properties.Under the influences of aesthetic value of traditional Confucian culture, tourists in the scenery areas would not only be satisfied with ?viewing? but also be focusing on deep-seated cognition such as ?feeling?, ?comprehending?, ?learning? and so forth. Chinese landscape painting pursues ?internal spirits? from ?external exhibition?. In the meanwhile, the Chinese scenery areas aim to present spiritual cultural connotation from the natural surroundings, which would satisfy the spiritual demands of tourists. Therefore, the Chinese scenery areas should have the same property as Chinese landscape paintings—the artistic conception is crucial spirit.Actually, the Chinese landscape paintings have many similarities with scenery areas: initially, they are all planted in the same cultural land and form the aesthetic value orientation in the same traditional ideology as well as they have established stable and uniform cognitive structure; Moreover, they have identical ?methods of presentation? and even the same purpose. Hence, it is feasible to ?transfer? these ?methods of presentation? from the landscape paintings to build the artistic conception in scenery areas, which would give scenery spots the picturesque feelings of artistic conception.This dissertation is based on the conclusion of origin of ideology, basic regulation, typical methods and properties of Chinese landscape paintings. Via investigating and comparing the scenery areas and landscape paintings, we utilize the means of transferring and depicting to illustrate the ways of applying the ?methods of presentation? that Chinese landscape paintings has, to the Chinese scenery areas. Eventually, we apply these ways to the designing practices and prove them.
