The Study On Landscape Architecture Design From Shan-Shui Painting

The traditional Shan-Shui painting is the most representative art form in China. Chinese landscape painters take their emotion into nature which they paint and use the artistic conception in landscape architecture design,so using the artistic flavor in landscape architecture design has been the traditional of China.And in terms of creative approach,Chinese Shan-Shui painting theory is followed by it's garden design. This paper attempts to start with the theory of Chinese Shan-Shui painting and do some basic theory research and approach exploration in how to achieve artistic flavor in landscape architecture design.Chinese Shan-Shui painting is the traditional painting section which beautiful scenery and other natural water flow is its main description.It has been influenced deeply by Chinese classical philosophy and it involves a large number of Chinese aesthetics and cultural areas.The aesthetics such as spirit,ink,freehand and artistic conception are always used in landscape design.The space conception:mobile observation point of view,small in wonderland,three-far are also represent in landscape space.Chinese Shan-Shui painting theory is followed by it's garden design, for example:study from nature,intention before design,composition,big in the small and so on.A large number of painting works portray gardens and much of garden views also like a picture.With the relationship between Shan-Shui painting and landscape design,the paper discussed the generation of artistic conception and approaches of how to achieve artistic flavor in landscape architecture design.At the same time,with case studies this paper discussed the application of such composition methods from modem landscape design and practice cases I involved.And then, through a comparative study,exploring the way of modem landscape design from eastern and westem landscape painting theory.The paper also discussed how to resist the impact of foreign culture and design ideas,keep Chinese traditional culture features and make Shan-Shui painting theory experience still play a role in modem landscape design.So,"can walk,can be seen,can visit,can live",China's own culture-based picture of the ideal and living environment can be founded finally.
