Research On Architectural Designing Methods For Comprehensive Museum Based On Regional Features Of JingChu Area

Museums are the public buildings that provide storage,protection and research for the releatead heritage,therefore,their cultural property and regionalism are often deemed the top prority for the architects.As large public buildings,museums are often the extermal windows of local culture,and are often the key projects of the goverment,which have some characters such as large scale and vast investment.These advantages have provided practical basis for the study of architects on both theory and creation.In recent years,there have been some architectural works which are representative with strong regional characteristics,such as the city museum in Suzhou,Anhui Museum(New Museum),they have provided practical basis for the study of creation method of comprehensive museums with strong regional characteristics.With the continual improving of local economical standard,Jing Chu region,as the improtant birthplace of chu culture,has witness the constantly expanding of its cultural industry,and the creation of museum has also reached an unprecedented climax.Museums that have already been built displayed the local geographical characteristics on different level.Therefore I will focus on the comprehensive museums,which can largely display the regional characteristics of a city or a region,through field research of the comprehensive museums that have alreadly been built in Jingchu area,I have summarized the experience and problems of museums,I have generalized a set of creation methods of the comprehensive museum of Jingchu area,which have strong regional characteristics.I hope I can provide basis for the creation of comprehensive museums.This paper is focus on the analyzing and illustrating of the creation methods of comprehensive museums.The paper can be devided into four parts:1.Elaborate the evolutional trend of museum,analyze the theory of regionalism and the practice of contemporary museums,that impact the creation of museum,provide theoretical basis for the study of creation medhod of comprehensive museums in Jingchu area.2.Make field research on the comprehensive museums that has been built in Jingchu area,analyze from seven perspects:the layout,the main function,flew organization,mass composition,core space,architecturual detail,geographical features,sumarize the creative experience of these museum,provide practical basis for the study of architectural creationmethod of comprehensive museums in Jingchu area.3.Analyze the three major influcting factors of ccreation of comprehensive museums inJingchu area,natural factor,humanity facor,rechnical factor,provide diitectional guidance for the archtectural creation of comgprehensive museums in Jingchu area.4.From the number of excellent museums complex,summed up a set of architectural creation methods suitable for the comprehensive museums of Jingchu area from these seven aspects: topography,surroundings,local climate,regional culture,materials technology,external environment regional features.
