Location Planning Study Of Guangzhou Ordinary Residential Community Pension Service

An aging population bring many problem in the process of our social development, how to provide our elderly people with a treasure sense of security, belonging and worthiness has already become an urgent issue. In the current situation of China’s economic development level and characteristics of aging society, as well as the weak social endowment mechanism, home-based care for the aged is always the most common endowment patterns in our country. To make elderly enjoy perfect pension service at home has become the basic target of the community current development. But in the community level, the space layout of endowment service facilities is generally imperfect, which have incomplete function and the unreasonable service radius distribution. The community endowment service cannot meet the demands of elderly people at this stage, the layout of community endowment service facilities need to be optimized. Under the condition of easily use and satisfy elderly demand, it will have very important social significance to layout facilities services reasonable.This study take Guangzhou different types of districts as preliminary study samples. Focus on the old districts, the study start from the perspective of home-based care for aged in the aging society, using the method of questionnaire survey and interview to appeal 6 typical districts. The requirement study pay spatial attention on the demand of home-based care, the usage of public service in the district and the trip mode of elderly people, analyzing the relation among the elderly behavior pattern, spatial paths and community facilities. Then take two typical districts as research emphasis, analyzing daily behavior paths and the characteristics of space-and–behavior, combining special syntax to find out the relations among district structure, facilities layout and community activities, from the aspect of mutual effect of behavior and special, concluding the key point of home-based care services station site selection in the districts.The paper composed by five part. First part is an introduction, which put out the back ground of study, concluding the research status in this field and point out the study object, goal, meaning, content and framework. In second charter, the paper concluded the facilities and development of pension institutions and home-based care for the aged, and introduce the situation of home-based care for the aged in typical districts of Guangzhou. In third charter, the study analyzing the real demand and walking trip path of elderly people who spend their pension at home, concluding their transit trip rule and demand. The forth charter analyzing elder people’s behavior paths by using GPS, then combine the special syntax to make objective analyze. Finally, the fifth charter, home and abroad experience are concluded, as well as the previous research content, reasonable function composition of community home-based pension service facilities, special layout and optimizing strategy.The paper research make a point that for the reasonable layout of community endowment pension service, it is necessary to category current endowment resources, respect its spatial structure and the elderly behavior. Only by this way, we can optimized the layout of community endowment services facilities. We are expecting the research outcome will become one kind of references for the father planning of Guangzhou existing community endowment services facilities, and have practical significance of improving elderly quality of life.
