Study Of Space Design Strategy In Contemporary Art Museum In City From The Composite Functions

Contemporary art museums play a very important role in the public education, cultural innovation, leisure and entertainment. With the development of domestic community in the past two decades, art museums have changed a lot by the change of the education and consumer attidudes, the economic fluctuations and the a shortage of resources. If we use the concept of complex functions as a research tool into the museum of contemporary art space design category, it is conducive to make it become a city complementary supporting functions, it is also conducive to the late art gallery space to support operations management.In this paper, it is based on the changes of contemporary social needs, the concept of composite functions as the breakthrough point, combined with the new museum study, urban architectural design and other research areas of the dynamic and results. Chapter 2 is an overview of domestic and foreign museums and art galleries architecture development process which is to put forward the new museum of contemporary art in the open and popular trend, and to explore art gallery into the underlying cause of the composite function. Chapter 3 summarizes the design requirements of contemporary art museum space requirements which is binding on the current characteristics of the public, the exhibition features the museum development model to interpret.Chapter 4, Chapter 5 research interpretation of modern and contemporary art museums domestic and analysis case with these design principles to guide the research. It constructs the core of contemporary art museum space design of composite function under the concept of the Museum of contemporary art from Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 of the outer space of the internal space. The design of external space strategy is mainly discussed from three aspects: the first it is the internal function of the external space composite; the second it is public activities and external space complex; the third it is urban function and external space compound. Interior space design strategy discuss how to create open space, comfortable,compatible and compact the interior space of the Museum of contemporary art from the macro to the micro space structure, key space, the atmosphere of space.In Chapter 6, through the above analysis, it is to prove the above point of view as the example of the project of the new Art Museum in Longhua and Library in Shenzhen which I participated in. At last, I hope the paper can provide some reference for future art museum space design practice.
