With the rapid development of social economy, the favorable social development environment provides fertile soil for the development of urban art and culture construction, forming a development trend of a hundred flowers blossomed, and giving birth to the contemporary art museum,a new type of art museum that is different from traditional art museums in many aspects.Contemporary art museums are not only places to display contemporary art,but also places for urban residents to exchange and spread art. What people want to get through contemporary art museums is not only opportunities to appreciate art works and to acquire art knowledge, but more importantly, they hope to get spiritual experience through communication with contemporary art.At the same time, the pursuit of experience and interactivity of contemporary art makes the exhibition space also become a part of art display, and the exhibition space of contemporary art museum has become a place full of spatial experience. How to create the spatial experience of the exhibition space of contemporary art museums has become an important issue in the architectural design of art museums in the new era.Perceptual phenomenology is a philosophical theory which advocates to understand the world through perceptual experience through the body as a medium. The emergence of phenomenology of perception,in order to solve the modern architectural vision prevailed and symbolic dilemma provides a way to let the architect to realize the importance of building spatial perception experience, but more importantly,to solve the problem of spatial experience of the contemporary art museum exhibition space provides a feasible direction of thinking and the ways to solve the problem. Therefore, this paper attempts to study the exhibition space of contemporary art museums with the theory of phenomenology of perception as the starting point and guiding ideology, hoping to find out the design strategy of creating the perception of exhibition space of contemporary art museums. The first chapter is the introduction of the paper. The research background, purpose and significance of this paper are explained, and then the scope of the research object is defined. At the same time, the research status and research methods at home and abroad are described.Form the basis for the rest of the paper. The second chapter is the research on the correlation between the phenomenology of perception and the exhibition space of contemporary art museums.Firstly, the author explains the basic content of phenomenology of perception, the development history of the exhibition space of contemporary art museums, and the perceptual experience characteristics of the exhibition space of contemporary art museums, which forms the theoretical basis and demand basis for the correlation between the two. Thus,it proposes the basis of existence correlation between the phenomenology of perception and the exhibition space of contemporary art museums in three aspects: spatial overall perception, spatial psychological association, and spatial sensory experience.Based on this,it is explained that the three aspects of perceptual phenomenology, namely, the overall atmosphere and theme construction, spatial sequence organization, and the expression of spatial sensory elements, form the specific breakthrough point for the guidance of perceptual construction in the exhibition space of an art museum. The third chapter is the second chapter puts forward the specific entry point for the study of ways to know, for three of the contemporary art museum exhibition space atmosphere and subject construction as a whole, space sequence, sensory elements systemic analysis in three dimensions space, through the analysis under three starting point, the exhibition space perception construction of basic construction direction.Specific design strategies for the following form the basis. The fourth chapter is the key chapter of this paper.Based on the previous analysis and summary, and by combining with many cases,it puts forward specific design strategies for the creation of perceptual experience in the exhibition space design of contemporary art museums from three aspects: the construction of the overall atmosphere of the space, the construction of the spatial organization and the construction of the spatial path, and the construction of the spatial sensory experience elements. The fifth chapter is a summary of the conclusions and deficiencies of this research and the prospect of the application of phenomenology of perception to the exhibition space design of contemporary art museums.
