In the fierce competition of automotive market. Enterprises and suppliers are seeking a variety of ways to improve economic efficiency for improving competitiveness. As we know, the transportation and storage of auto parts are generally considered as “Third Profit Source”. The existing auto 4S shops are located in many different cities, whose demand of different auto parts are often unstable. Separate warehouse storage may cause cost increase or reduce the quality of service due to the product’s extrusion or the shortage of supply. In addition, auto 4S shops need to make sure that the information of store management requires real-time collected and provided to the relevant manufacturing department. In this way, it can make auto parts better to find a balance between the rate of satisfaction and the floating capital.From the perspective of automated storage, by researching on the design of automation stereoscopic warehouse for small and medium-sized auto parts.This paper provides reflections and recommendations on the centralized management of auto parts in auto 4S shop, along with some references for reducing storage and logistics cost. Based on the enterprise demand combined with the actual requirements of auto parts storage. This topic complete the overall design of an automated warehouse which applies to small and medium-sized auto parts. First, the overall plan of the warehouse is carried on according to the quality, size and other characteristics of the auto parts, including the reasonable arrangement of the area and the form of the equipment. Second, this paper completes the design of storage cell size and the layout of the parts, along with the structural design and stability analysis of shelves. And then it completes the design of the various components of a single column with rail roadway and the finite element statics analysis of the main force structure or components. Finally, it verifies the feasibility of the assembly by virtual assembly and the simulation process using V5 Catia. In this paper, by the inspection of equipment structure and assembly interference, the finite element static analysis of the main stress components to make the design becomes more reasonable, which provides some references for the construction of small and medium-sized auto parts storage warehouse.In the design process, from the perspective of theory and design method of virtual technology, this paper shows a design analysis method. It can not only improve the design efficiency but also reduce the cost of actual development.
