With the competition requirements of the social environment and the rapid development of the computer automatic identification technology, warehouse management information improves gradually and more traditional manual management methods are replaced by the automated ones. The automated warehouse has a large storage capacity, small footprint, and other advantages like saving manpower and doing the job quickly and accurately. The JIT production model of the automobile companies involve a large number of spare parts and require these parts in precise quantities in the required time to send to the designated location, thus a large storage capacity and fast and accurate job are required, and then the advantages of automated warehouse exactly meet the needs of auto parts warehouse. This thesis takes the automated warehouse as the object and mainly studies its cargo optimization problem. As the automated warehouse has a wide variety of goods and different dimension, the problem is divided into the following three parts.(1) The pallet loading problem. To solve the problem that how to put the boxes of any size to the pallet of arbitrary size as many as possible, this paper establishes the corresponding mixed-integer nonlinear programming model and designs two distributed algorithms in the problem solving process according to the characteristics of the problem. The ultimate ideal solution is selected from the two ideal solutions of algorithm1and algorithm2, and it is programming in the MATLAB environment.(2) The classification of commodities storage. To solve the problem that how to determine the rational distribution of the shelf while meet the storage volume and inventory capacity constraints, this paper establishes the corresponding mixed-integer nonlinear programming model and the heuristic algorithm is designed on the basis of the analysis of the problem. In order to coordinate the storage of frequency and space utilization in the roadway, this algorithm adjusts the clustering results of the parts and the length of the roadway class, it ultimately get the better the results of the classification of commodities by programming in the MATLAB environment.(3) The slotting optimization allocation problem. To reduce the single average cost of stacking machine under the condition of the shelf stability by adjusting the components of the space layout, this paper establishes the corresponding mixed-integer nonlinear programming model and then decomposes the stacker operating cost into two problems in the process of solving this problem. The first one is the order optimization problem of the layout of the shelf parts placed in single layer of the roadway, and the second is the sequence optimization of the shelf stacking assigned to the roadway. For the first question, number combines the importance of the parts at first and then it combines the advantages and disadvantages of the cargo space in the tunnel. By matching the part number and position number, it solves the sequence problem of single shelf display component placement. For the second problem, this paper uses the genetic algorithm to solve this problem by programming in the MATLAB environment. On the basis of these three issues, this paper selects a car spare parts logistics center as the object and discusses the program of parts adding to our catalog, the results also verify the validity of the proposed design method in solving the slotting optimization problem of auto parts automated warehouse.
