| In recent years, with the rapid development of the higher education in china, the number of the colleges and the students in colleges both have demonstrated a steady gowth trend. Therefore the campus landscape design is more and more being attached importance to. The quality of campus landscape directly affects the students physical and mental health. A good campus environment not only can provide teachers and students with the place to live, study, communicate and develope, but reflects its unique educational philosophy and its history and culture connotation as well. In addition, a good campus environment has its educational function. The compus environment can reflect and embody the campus spirit, campus culture and campus value. Based on landscape planning and design, environmental psychology and environmenal behavior studies, the theory of regional culture and the research of campus landscape development history in both China and abroad, this paper analyzes current college campus construction in Shanxi, summarizes the influence factors of compus design in Shanxi colleges, put forward the design principles and discusses the campus landscape design elements and methods. Taking Shanxi Agricultural University as an example, this paper focuses on the features of campus design in Shanxi and shows the regional culture and history culture in Shanxi areaThe chapter content reads as follows:Chapter One: Briefly introduce the research background, research purpose and significance, research methods and research framework. Among them, the methods includes literature survey, field investigation and case analysis.Chapter Two: Define some relative concepts, including the concept of college campus and campus landscape, landscape planning and design theory, environmental psychology, environment-behavior study and the theory of regional culture. Indroduce the development history of college campus landscape and relative research progress both in China and abroad.Chapter Three: Study the current condition of Shanxi campus landscape design. Based on the analysis of geographical location and natrual conditions of Shanxi Province and campus construction achievements in recent years, put forward the problems which exist in the current design and make an analysis from the aspects of sight, ecology, behavior and historical landscape protection.Chapter Four: Analyze the influence factors of Shanxi college campus landscape design, including natural factors, social factors, cultureal factors and main consuming body. Then summarize the four priciples of campus landscape design, including ecology first, education foremost, people-oriented and cultural protection.Chpater Five: Based on the special geographical environment of Shan Province, sum up the representive of the campus landscape design elements and methods which include the road landscape design, the plant landscape design, building landscape design, waterscpe design, miniature landscape design and the square landscape design which can show the features of the campus landscape design most.Chapter Six: As a university with a history of more than one hundred years, Shanxi Agricultural University is full of contradiction and contrast between the old and the new. So taking it as an example to analyze its genearal situation, campus landscape and characteristic landscape, then to sum up the advantages and disadvantages of landscape in Shanxi Agricultural University then put forward some feasible solution to its deficiency.Chapter Seven: Summarize the innovation achievements and deficiency about this topic, and prospect the future development.The innovation points of this paper is to explore a campus landscape design methods applying to Shanxi’s geographical environment and blaze a path of campus landscape design with Shanxi characteristics, which is based on Shanxi local character, combining with the current condition, deveolping regional culture and history context, with the development of campus design being prosperous than ever before. |
