Brick is the smallest units of the building, it is the basis for the construction industry, the quantity and quality of brick productions can reflect a country’s development scale and technical level. With the needs of rapid economic development and urban construction, the demand for brick and quality requirements will become increasingly higher, which the brick and tile production equipment put forward higher requirements. Cutting machine as one of important part of the modern brick equipments is an important factor influence on quality and efficiency. However, many domestic manufacturers are still using the old-fashioned rotating brick cutting machine, the phenomenon of horseshoe tail, serious waste of clay, low productivity are widespread. Therefore, designed a new type of cutting machine is important.In this paper, we designed a new vertical synchronous cutting machine, determine the working principle, clay cutting mode and the related operating parameters of the cutting machine based on actual production experience. The cutting direction selecting and mechanical problems was researched based on the two-dimensional elastic finite element and three-dimensional Viscous elastic finite element method. And get the values of rope strength and deflection by the mechanical analysis of wire cutting reliability, wire cutting power.The total structure of synchronous cutting machine, cutter and adobe synchronous walking system, the synchronous cutting system are designed. The power system of cutter, cutter walking and return, rapid delivery system are selected reasonably. To ensure the upper and lower ends of the cutting wire consistent speed in the cut process, we propose a new structure on the basis of the existing synchronous cutting machine, by the use of belt drive, wire remain upright state, upper and lower ends load is evenly distributed, reducing the damage to the wire, to ensure the quality aspect.Found the parts and assemblies modeled of the cutting mechanism and achieve slitter agencies function based on the software Solidworks.
