With the development of digital electronic technology, digital storage oscilloscope is becoming more and more intelligent,it integrated more and more functions, such as measurement, analysis, operation, record, display and so on. Digital storage oscilloscope(DSO) is more and more widely applied in the engineering application and scientific research, it trends to fully replace the development trend of analog oscilloscope [1].Traditional analog oscilloscope can’t store waveform, big volume and high power consumption without convenient to field test makes it more and more cannot satisfy the requirement of experiment.The digital storage oscilloscope possesses the advantages of the traditional analog oscilloscope reach, it can directly measure the signal frequency, amplitude, and many other basic parameters.It not only has the basic waveform real-time display function, but also has very strong data processing ability. Given the oscilloscope is very expensive in foreign countries, On the basis of research on DSO product works, the author propose a new design idea,and designed a low-cost portable digital storage oscilloscope, and detailed description of the design and implementation process.This paper introduces a design scheme of digital storage oscilloscope based on STM32F4. It is controlled by the STM32F407 core(based on ARM Cortex-M4 architecture frame).It includes the front-end circuit signal processing circuit, flash storage circuit, LCD display module. The front-end circuit processing includes programmable amplifier attenuator, impedance transformation circuit, level shift circuit and trigger circuit, implements waveform transformation, impedance matching, such as low-pass filtering function; Level after circuit mainly realizes the waveform, it adopted the FSMC interface to drive LCD, implements the brush screen rate is higher. In terms of system software, adopts the FreeRTOS real-time operating system, so as to improve the real-time performance of the system, and on the system to transplant emWin graphical interface, the user as long as the call to GUI programming libraries of graphics functions can easily, thus shortening the development cycle of the system. In addition the MicroSD card circuit is designed to storage the waveform file.Through demonstration and test, the design scheme has strong practicability, and basically achieved the design targets.
