Research On Design Concept Materialization And Application In The Automobile Modeling Design Based On Product Innovation Design

Design concept is a strategic product development direction which was put forward by enterprise according to the current situation of the market, is the materialize of design concept, is the progress from abstract concept to specific tangible products.The research, based on the concept of product design, deal with how to use divergent thinking to find more development tactic to satisfy the market, so as to realize the diversity of product.This research starts from the basic definition of the concept, analyzes the connotation and denotation of the product concept design, described the status and role of design concepts in product innovation design, presents the research status of domestic and foreign experts in the field. The reverse thinking analyzes the cases of successful products, finds the innovation breakthrough of original product, summed constituent elements and thought processes of products. And then take the design concept as the starting point to explore the constituent elements of product innovation and thinking model. Based on those two thinking model, the research sets up the conception of design and methods of basic framework.Finally research the theme of design concepts based on the 6th China Automotive Model Design Competition, and survey design industry status, interpret the design task, understanding and mining theme of this competition, then take the topic as the divergent thinking origin, explores visual language associated with product design concepts and more pathways innovative designs plans though brainstorming, image plates and keywords divergent ways.
