Transmission is an important components of the vehicle power transmission system,The transmission performance has an important influence on vehicle power performance,comfort and economy and so on. The design of DCT develops on the basis of manual transmission and remains the advantages of MT, such as, compact conformation, high transmission efficiency, It achieve a dynamic shift and improve the smooth shifting, and is one of the main development direction of the future of domestic new transmission. Gear as an integral part of the gear transmission parts, the fatigue life and the transmission performance has an important influence on the overall performance of the transmission.This article presents a new kind of dual clutch transmission of selective output, optimizes the design of helical gears with the multi-objective genetic algorithm, and the transmission is designed independently by Automotive Engineering Technology Research Institute of Hefei University of Technology. And the gears fatigue life and the transmission performance are analyzed in a professional research transmission gear train Romax Designer software environment system. Summarized as follows:(1) maintaining the gear pair center distance constant, completed the gear structure parameters (number of teeth, module, helix angle displacement coefficient, etc.) on the fatigue life of gears, drive and affect the smooth gear contact stress analysis.(2)Based on the research and analysis of new dual-clutch automatic transmission structural characteristics and working principle, complete virtual modeling and simulation of the transmission using Romax Designer software(3)Carry out multi-objective optimization studies based on genetic algorithm,on the conditions that a determined transmission load cases, structures, materials, center gear pressure angle.established the minimum volume, the minimum tooth surface contact stress and the maximum contact ratio of gear strain,(4)According to the mathematical model,Using Matlab prepared a genetic algorithm optimization program,conducted simulation experiments to obtain the parameters of the helical gear optimized.and using Romax Designer verified optimization data. Obtained the optimization is feasible.
