Research On Radio Frequency Identification Technology In The Application Of Cable Management

RFID is a technology that uses labels that produce radio signals to identify things such as vehicles and containers. It has been widely used in some specialized fields like access control system, logistics services, asset management. Along with the development of urban construction, pipeline of urban road reconstruction and line crossing, identification and management of underground cables are facing with a great challenge. In order to meet the application of SG186 and the development of modern information technology, it is important to improve and upgrade the power cable management system appling RFID technology.Based on the application of power cable management, RFID tag recognition technology is applied in management of electric power cable in this paper. Firstly, combined with PDA, GPD,3G technology, RFID techmology is applied in identify power cable. It integrates field operation and business system by effectively achieve business using terminal equipment. It can improve work efficiency of power cable inspection system. Secondly, a software platform for cable management is built to relize standardization, normalization, refinement and security of field operation process. Finally, a intelligent inspection system of power calbe is built based on produciton management system.By building the intelligent inspection system of power calbe, it can monitore and manage staff member and working. It meets the requirements of Zhejiang electric cable inspection maintenance intensive development, lean management and standardizing construction management. It can also improvement poweer cable management equipment, standardization in Zhejiang electric power company. Therefore, the intelligent inspection system of power cable in this paper has a certain practicaal engineering significance.
