| Reverse engineering gets more and more attention, which provides a new high-efficient method for obtaining the CAD model of product. The three-dimensional data collection of free-form parts, reconstruction of free-form surface, tool-path generation in NC machining and forming accuracy in rapid prototyping are researched in this paper, which is important to implementation of system integration.The CAD/CAM integration framework is built based on Reverse engineering. The NC machining process and method of free-form surface are researched. The parameter selection of free-form surface in NC machining and the establishment of surface processing technology are analyzed. One method of controlling step length with remainder height is presented. The control formula is given. The point cloud obtaining, surface modeling, process database are effectively integrated. The function of data importing, technology parameter inputting, cutting tool path planning and NC code generating are realized.A NC generator for curved surface milling is established in NC machining module of integration framework. The generator based on the Pro/Toolkit, which is development tool of Pro/E, and VC++. A windows style human-computer interaction interface was provided. The interrelated process parameter is decided and can be modified. Finally, the purpose of curved surface machining simulation and NC machining test are realized.With three dimension printer, the rapid prototyping based on reverse engineering is researched. The influences of material, part position and forming parameter on forming time and precision are given. The results indicate that the best productivity effect and forming precision could be obtained when the direction of minimum dimension and material accumulating were consistent in three dimension printing. |
