‘Circular Economy’ is vigorously developed by the state to solve the problem of resource shortage and realize the sustainable development of society.Remanufacturing is an important measure to enforce the ‘Circular Economy’ program.Hydraulic cylinder which is expensive and widely used is the key functional components for engineering machinery with huge amounts, so the remanufacturing of hydraulic cylinder will bring tremendous economic and social benefits. As the first step of remanufacturing for hydraulic cylinder, disassembly affects the manufacturing efficiency and the rate of reusing parts directly. While disassembly performance is an important index to evaluate the ability of product disassembly and the performance of product remanufacturing, so it is very necessary to improve it by enhancing design for disassembly of remanufacturing engineering machinery products.Based on aforementioned research background, an integrated design theory for product disassembly is proposed in this paper. During the structure design of the disassembled objects, the factors affecting the disassembly efficiency are analyzed and the corresponding disassembly device is constructed. The structure of the disassembled object and the corresponding disassembly equipment can be improved by the interaction between them. By the way, this theory is applied to remanufacturing of construction machinery in order to meet the requirement of the industrialization.The main work is as follows:1. The theory of integrated design is proposed, integrated design model is established, and the key elements are deeply studied. More specifically, the concept and essence of integrated design are expounded, the main connotations and features are analyzed. What’s more, integrated design evaluation method is investigated in brief. In addition, integrated design method is deeply studied in the form of design flow chart, and the solution structure of integrated design is derived and generated.2. Firstly, taking the function element of engineering hydraulic cylinder head seal as a demonstration, function solving is accomplished for structures of hydraulic cylinder and dismantling platform in accordance with flow chart of integrated design,thus structural solution sets of disassembly fit pair are obtained. Secondly, applying integrated design theory by taking the design of the actual dismantling platform for example, the scheme of connection constraint solving is determined, the sequence ofcylinder disassembly is planed, the modular functions of dismantling platform is generated, structure solving is accomplished for main functional modules, a variety of structural solutions are obtained, as a result, virtual prototype is built, physical prototype of dismantling platform is manufactured, and the final disassembly tests for dismantling platform are also accomplished.3. The interactive information flow and feedback between the hydraulic cylinder and it’s dismantling platform are analyzed in order to optimize their structures by carrying out experiment and test based on the designed dismantling platform of hydraulic cylinder.
