Tub grinder is a specialized machinery for biomass energy recycling, which has the advantages of crushing capacity, wide range of application, large capacity and so on. There are two kinds of driving mode, which are motor drive and engine drive.To the motor drive, the combination form of engine and hydraulic system is the main driving form,which can achieve better control and transform sites. This combination form can make the machine work places without electricity supply limit. In this paper,based on the requirements of tub grinder’s work,we choose in the center of optimizing the operating characteristics of the hydraulic system and improving the machine automation. Starting from the matching design of hydraulic system parameters,we analyzed hydraulic system’s modeling and static and dynamic characteristics,which is the key elements of the feed mechanism and the grinding mechanism.And the hydraulic control system was designed.The modeling and analysis of Hydraulic System for feeding and crushing mechanism is the key to research the whole mechanism. Using of AMESim and Matlab to complete the simulation research of hydraulic system. Through the simulation we can know that the feed mechanism can achieve linkage with crushed mechanism under the control of controller. When crushing motor speed up, feeding motor speed will increase.Otherwise, it will reduce. When gear gets to reach maximum speed, the maximum speed of the feed mechanism does not exceed the specified 240 r/min.It can meet the design requirements.The crushing mechanism hydraulic system adopts load sensing system,which can change the size of the pump according to the load torque displacement. Load sensing system can achieve better matching of the hydraulic system and the load. When the load torque reaches the maximum set torque, the maximum speed of the gear is 593.8 r/min,which can meet the job’s requirements. By adjusting the spring stiffness of pressure control valve and LS the valve load, it will shorten the system’s responsive time to 5.5 s,which optimized the system’s dynamic characteristics.Based on the analysis of the control process and work requirements on the whole hydraulic system, the paper puts Mitsubishi FX2N-24 MT PLC as the restraining core. The whole hydraulic control system have been rational design in this thesis.The paper uses the methods of combing electrical control and hydraulic to achieve automatic control’s functions.Finally, using of the programming software to complete the writing of procedures and analog switch program. The results of this study provides a certain reference value on the design and control of grinder hydraulic system.
