Hydraulic excavator is a multi-functional engineering machinery. It is widelyusedin water conservancy, transportation, power engineering and miningearthworkconstruction. It plays an important role in reducing the heavy manual labor,ens-uring project quality, speed up the construction speed and improve laborproduct-ivity. With the scientific technological development and construction needs ofm-odern production, hydraulic excavators need significant technological advances.E-nergy saving technology becomes the mainstream of foreign brands, which gearesto development of hydraulic excavators.From the sixties and the seventies in last century, based on the open-loop t-ransferas the main feature of the traditional hydraulic drive technology and cha-racterized byclosed-loop control servo control technology, electro-hydraulic prop-ortional technologyhas become an important mean in mechanical and industrial engineering of automation.After introduce three kinds of energy-saving technolo-gy of hydraulic excavators. Thepaper focus on the multiway-valve load-sensing system of excavator hydraulic. TakingJapan’s HACHI up the machine ZAXIS55-UR-HHE excavator hydraulic system for reference. Reforming and simplifying th-e complex multi-way valve hydraulic systemby using electronic proportion tech-nology. Combine the electricity proportion andenergy-saving technology of hydr-aulic excavators. Designing a load-sensing hydraulicwith closed-loop control sys-tem based on the electricity proportion technology.Firstly the paper analyzes the function of ZAXIS55UR-HHE load sensingh-ydraulic system, including its working principle of various control valve. Mainlyintroduces ZAXIS55UR-HHE load sensing hydraulic system theory, the pressurecompensation principle and the system flow pressure requirements. Proposingtheoverall design of the load-sensing system based on electro-hydraulic proportionaltechnology and the selection of the main components, mainly including a pump whichis controlled by electricity proportion compl-ex controlling, the model selection ofpilot-operated type electricity proportion3-4way valves and electricity p-roportionpressure reducing valves. Then the paper uses the3D software for mo-deling, realizingco-simulation between AMESim and ADAMS. At last, the paperanalyze new systemaccording simulation results.Compared with multiway-valve system, the system easier to produce, processandmaintenance. Both on the application and further research,The research inthis paper has a certain reference value and significance on the electro-hydraulicproportional system of hydraulic excavator.
