The Research On The Urban Historic District Protection Under The Concept Of Cultural Ecology

"Integrated Preservation" is the most complete preservation and respection of the culture.But some protection and renewal of the historic city now,ignoring the native—— households to be relocated. They believe that the native are the negative forces of blocking the renewal of the historic city. Regardless of their residence property belonging to the state-owned housing, public housing or private housing are to be guided to the direction of leaving the origin location by the current policies of the renewal and demolition of the historic city. For a long time, few people care about those quality, using and future of the housing.The unstable renewal and demolition policies of the historic district brings the strongly upset of the residents. In interviews with local residents, they have repeatedly talked about the willingness of demolition, only if the governments give the appropriate requirement that they are satisfied. At the same time, they also show a strong emotion of difficulty of leaving their homeland, after all, this is the place where generations living.This paper is a case of the Ximen historic district in Qujing, Yunnan province. The paper mainly discusses what is to protect the shape, shell or citizen behaviors by analyzing the environment of cultural ecology and the citizen living behaviors in this block. The concept of cultural integrated preservation mode is put forward from the theory of cultural ecology, and then, the basic point of historic district is put forward, that is the thinking of civilianization from the preservation and renewal.Civilianization can change the role of government from the previous demolition into the providers of public resources in city, it will help to relieve the current tensions of government and the native whose house to be relocated in most areas of China. Once the indigenous people become the masters of their own destiny in the future, which increases the residents’sense of belonging to the house and the environment of historic city, and thus stimulate the enthusiasm of residents to participate in city renewal. They will be directly involved in the protection of the historic city, so as to achieve the purpose of incremental updates. Concretely combined those theoretical thinking with the plan and practice of protection and renewal in Ximen historic district. As a development of effective measures to inherit, which is a witness and memory of urban historic blocks,this method of protection and renewal need to analyze the historic blocks and its environment in the urban area objectively, and determine the protective content and the corresponding measures according to the local conditions.
