Qidong Hengyuan Metro Area Residential Landscape Design

With the fast development of urban areas and the rapid expansion of population, the housing problem has become the basic survival issues of people. In the process of solving the housing problem, the quality of the living environment of the residents has been getting the user’s attention, therefore, landscape design of residential areas has also become increasingly important, it is not only responsible for the people’s satisfaction with living environment, as well as improves spiritual value of the whole surroundings. For modern garden designers, they should integrate various knowledge from different disciplines into every details of designing, changing the abstract into the concrete, to improve the residential environment. The continuous development of modern society affects the living environment change, therefore, the study of residential landscape is never-ending. This paper studies residential area landscape design based on Qidong Hengyuan Metro Area as an example and made the following progress:(1) Firstly, this paper researches the development of residential area landscape and makes the relevant concepts summary about residential area landscape design; and then put forward the current exist a series of problems in the residential landscape design such as "Foreign wind hype", " Landscape as a cover short design ", "the tree transplant phenomenon";(2) Secondly, this paper introduce the element of residential area landscape environment and talk about the connection between residential area landscape design with residents activities and psychological demand. Summarizes the area between the elements of residential area landscape design and the principle of organization, to explore space of residential area landscape construction key points;(3) Thirdly, this paper selects five domestic residential area landscape design case and carries on the investigation and analysis. Summed up the reference experience for practice by analysis the design conception, theme orientation, landscape layout, construction technique in these cases.(4) Finally, this paper takes Qidong Hengyuan Metro residential area as a practical cases. The present situation problems are analyzed and combed through field investigation. It also gives subject positioning for the characteristics of site,then complete the overall design, detailed partition landscape design, special design and project investment estimation.
