Dump trucks often dump goods in the irregular road, and they are always prone to head-raising and rollover in this condition. The main reason is that, at the beginning of design, the lifting stability of the whole truck was ignored, then the structure size and mass distribution parametersdid not reach the requirements of lifting safety.This graduation design is based on a 8×4 dump truck of an automobile enterprise, and develops a set of Design System for Simulation and Optimization for Lifting Stability of Dump Trucks, to promote lifting stability of dump trucks in the irregular road.Based on analysis of the stress state in the course of lifting, this thesis constructs the dump truck theoretical mechanical model in the course of lifting. With the model, we compiles the simulation function of the lifting process in MATLAB, and the optimization function, which is based on the simulation function, with the Genetic Algorithm. Then we translate them to dynamic link libraries.As to the design requirement for lifting stability of dump trucks, a set of user interface is designed in this thesis, which includes lifting simulation and optimization modules of dump trucks. In the user interface, the designers could realize the simulation and optimization function after they define parameters of the dump truck. The system would call the dynamic link libraries in the operation course of simulation and optimization. At the end, compared with another CAE software, the reliability of the system’s function is verified.
