The problem of wind pressure and the power consumption is too high on the boiler induced-draft fan,often because of improper selection of fan type. Therefore, it should be appropriate to reduce the amount of wind and wind pressure of the fan. To reform the inappropriate fan,so the performance parameters of the fan are matched with the parameters of the pipe network system,it can be used for reduce the power consumption of the fan. Taking a power plant consumes excessive axial fans for the object of the transformation,taking into account the material, reconstruction time and cost of fan blade, cutting blade is an economical and effective way to transform. Conventional cutting blade transformation method include utting impeller overall a certain degree of c method, or a method of cutting off part of the blades, In this paper, a new method is proposed, that is, selecting parts of the blade and cutting it shorter. First, this paper gives a detailed mapping method fan flow path, including the twisted blades of Surveying and Mapping. Then build solid models in AutoCAD fan, then import Gambit perfect model, meshing and the initial set boundary conditions.Last, setting of boundary conditions based on the operating data of a certain axial flow fan, using the Fluent to simulate the prototype fan. The reliability of the model was verified by analyzing the pressure, velocity and streamlined diagram.Doing numerical simulation of four retrofitted blower and prototype fan by setting under different conditions, to explore parts of the blade cut the top of axial flow fan energy saving effect. After analyzing the numerical data and the performance curve, it is considered that the effect of the blade part of the cutting is remarkable, and the purpose of the transformation is achieved. While the shaft power is also reduced, reducing the power consumption of the fan. And in a certain range, the total pressure and shaft power reduction with increasing degree of cutting the amount increases.The results of this paper have a certain reference value for the energy-saving transformationof power plant which has high power consumption due to the too Great Reserve Margin of Draft Fans. |
