There are two aspects of work around AGC and frequency control in this paper.(1)the simulation of AGC in interconnected gridWith the further development of the states grid, the functions of regulation become more complex, and the functions of the system also becomes difficult to be verified. The development of multi-zones interconnected grids and production acceptance mainly depend on the field trial. Because of the increase of the areas, staffs, workload, the verified effects and efficiency would less satisfactory, and especially some special scene may bring the loss to the grid.On the other hand, the research of new technologies is also lack of the test environment. Considering the requirements of security, stability, reliability and economics of the grid, there will encounter various kinds of problems when doing the research and test on AGC control strategies under the actual system.As a result, it is necessary to develop a set of test platform for dispatching automation system. And that needs the simulation to the secondary equipment of the grid, including the control ways of dispatch system, and the AGC system and regional dispatch in non-detection zone. The paper proposed the simulation of AGC in grand and multi-zones grids, and developed the AGC technologies in sub-station.(2) research of overshoot phenomena of frequency controlThere are the overshoot phenomena of the active power regulation in some regions, which goes against the reliability and the economics of the power system. The reasons of overshoot are discussed and improvement measures are proposed. The measures of short-term are set for the standard of controlled performance, and should be applied as soon as possible. While the long-term refers to the adjustments for the grid planning, including the construct of frequency control service market and the scheduled types of power units in service.The Strategy of primary frequency control is not reasonable for regulation. The influence of current primary frequency control strategy is discussed. A new strategy considering cooperation of AGC is proposed. Simulation results show that the strategy in this paper can effectively reduce the overshoot phenomenon. |
