With the rapid development and wide application of Internet, the combination of traditional monitoring and web technology is increasingly favored by people. The industrial monitoring system based on web becomes the main tide in industrial monitoring field. This article takes exhaust-heat boiler as research object, has designed a full set of control plan according to the monitoring of operation parameter of exhaust-heat boiler after on-the-spot investigated the key technology of operation process and control of exhaust-heat boiler. The main content is as following:1. Analyze the importance of exhaust-heat boiler in utilization of industrial high temperature gas, introduce the monitoring interface design of exhaust-heat boiler. We propose the design idea of monitoring system of exhaust-heat boiler based on web, through the analysis of domestic and abroad present situation of monitoring system research.2. Introduce each part and function of exhaust-heat boiler through analyzing its structure characteristics, working principle and performance index, in which main system of lower unit includes field data acquisition module of exhaust-heat boiler, AD conversion module, control strategy realization module and DA conversion module, while the upper unit system main includes real time data monitoring module, user management module, alarm module, check module of heating surface performance and data read-write module, as well as management module.3. Realize the communication between upper and lower unit. Upper unit reads, writes, analyzes and memories the serial port through invoking the MSCOMM control and accomplishes the communication with lower unit through RS485 which on the basis of Modbus transport protocol, and then realizes the distributed monitoring and provides necessary service to the operation of monitoring system.4. Have constructed the general framework of monitoring system of exhaust-heat boiler, detailed explained the specific realization of every module. User management module includes user login registration, password retrieving and modification; real time monitoring platform includes real time data display of the operation of exhaust-heat boiler, drum pressure, curve drawing of water level and steam temperature; performance check of heating surface includes calculation of basic parameter, calculation of each part’s total heat transfer coefficient, thermometric analysis and efficiency analysis; alarm module includes real time alarm information and historical alarm record as well as alarm cancelling process; data management module includes work log generation and operation record view.The design of distributed monitoring system of heat recovery steam generator based on web has obtained great monitoring effect when put into practical application.
