Performance Based Navigation (PBN) is one of the main popularized technologies of CAAC. Its application can well promote the highly efficient operation of civil aviation, but at present, the actual implementation of PBN cannot be analyzed quantitatively. We need to establish a corresponding monitoring system, by researching QAR data and analyzing the operational data in order to prove the ability of PBN. By collecting and finding the causes that make deviations in order to help the airlines and CAAC to operate and manage PBN better, besides, this paper can also provides a reference for further researches and goes a further step in writing the monitoring system of PBN operation and advisory circular.The basic concepts and requirements of PBN are analyzed in this paper, combined with the researching of airlines, equipment manufacturers’ operational requirements and the current QAR data collecting scope, to select the monitoring data items of PBN and aim at specific items of them to study the corresponding requirements according to regulations, then establish the corresponding standard to judge whether it overruns or not.This paper uses the data writing disposal software of mathematical analysis software Matlab to realize the automatic processing of data, to embed the overrun standard into the program, to invoke the data coding results of QAR by using this software, to input the actual conditions while running and constraints regulated when designed this program. Then it can automatically analyze whether an incident overruns. This job can avoid people finding overrun incidents from the vast amounts of operational data.
