With the rapid socio-economic development, people are in the pursuit of efficiency.At the same time, the prevalence of fatigue driving, has resulted in harmful impact on the safe travel for individuals and others. It is of great practical significance to find the formation and changes of driver fatigue thus to develop effective preventive measures.At present, the preventive measures of driver fatigue is not so effective. The fundamental reason is the lack of adequate analytical study, and research in a man-machine-environment way. This article mainly writes about the mechanism analysis of driving fatigue in ergonomics, driving fatigue experiments, using SPSS software to explore changes of driver fatigue, and finally introduce preventive measures to driver fatigue.Based on previous research for the driver’s physiological and psychological, combined with the specific content of driving-duties to man- machine- environment system overall framework. The use of ergonomic methods in driving fatigue research is an innovation in this field. And has great practical significance for in-depth study of the mechanism of fatigue driving, to make more effective preventive measures for reducing traffic accidents.This paper proved the mechanism of fatigue due to the impact caused by driver fatigue, and proposed the concept of driving fatigue index to find when driving fatigue deterioration will occur.
