Rail transit station is an important node between the city space and the rail traffic system, the passenger flow characteristics of the whole system is determined by the characteristics of each station on the line. For the current researches, many researches are concentrated on the passenger flow of the network and the relationship between urban transport and land use, but there are little research about the relationship between land use and the passenger flow of rail stations. The study of passenger flow of rail station can make a good guide for the station operating organization, the surrounding land development and the convergence services with other transportations, so this paper focuses on the relationship between land use and the passenger flow of rail station. The studies are as follows:First, the paper studies the relationship between rail transport and land use and analyzes that how the rail traffic impacts the surrounding land, and then, it studies the impact of different nature of the land use in the scale of passenger flow, the distribution of peak hours, and the differences between weekdays and weekends. Second, by building the model, the paper does a research about the relationships between volume ratio, the site location conditions the mixing degree of land use between the passenger flow of rail stations. Then, it gives their final stable conditions for the three relationships (reinforcing relationship, dependencies relationship, inhibition relationship) and gives the model simulation results. Finally, based on the relationship between land use and passenger flow, using the support vector machine model, the paper does the prediction on the passenger flow.
